- Quote requests. If you use a "Get quotes" form we collect the details you enter: ZIP code, state, type of repair, project description, timing, name, email address and, if you choose, phone number and extra details. We use them to respond to your request and, only with your consent, to share your request with local service professionals so they can contact you.
- Emails. If you email us we keep your message and address to reply and to fix any issues you report.
Information that stays in your browser
The problem finders, estimators and quote checker run in your browser; what you enter in them is not sent to us. Some preferences, such as checklist progress and the state you choose for prices, are saved in your browser's local storage. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser data.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. Form submissions are stored by Netlify on our behalf.
Advertising and cookies
We use or may use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

How long we keep it

Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK (GDPR), you may have additional rights, such as to object to processing or to know what we collected. This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
